Stanley Thompson, Canada's master golf course architect, used his expert talent when he
designed the original 18 holes in 1928. The
Fairmont Banff Springs Golf Course winds along the Bow River under the
snow-capped peaks of Sulphur Mountain and Mount Rundle. In 1989, 9 holes were added, resulting in 27 holes of championship layout.
The Fairmont Banff Springs Golf Course offers a golf academy and practice facility will assist you in sharpening your game before your day on the links. Club and shoe rentals are also available.
Dress Code:
- Collared shirts (men only)
- No denim pants, shorts or shirts
- No sweat pants or sweat shorts (nylon suits are acceptable)
- Shorts should be dress shorts with 5 inch inseam
- Shoes must be soft soled
- Soft spikes required (available for purchase at The Fairmont Banff Springs Pro Shop)
Golf Academy
Enroll in The Fairmont Banff Springs Golf Academy and fine-tune your golf swing. Spend a half day with one of the golf pros and concentrate on the long or short aspects of your game. This clinic is offered at 9:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m. daily; duration is three hours. Contact the Concierge for reservations.
