Taman Sari Royal Heritage Spa provides treatment based on the use of sophisticated, traditional Royal methods in combination with selected organic ingredients. Day 2: Sports Massage (60 minutes) – This massage combines Swedish technique and Deep tissue Massage. It prepares the muscles for exercise as well as assisting them in recovering more quickly for the next round of activity.
Day 3: Samapta Purwa – Ancient Javanese Healing, featuring 3 elements:
1. Javanese Lulur – Described as the “Royal” of all body treatments that has been practiced in the palace of Central Java. The main ingredients are turmeric, rice powder, pandan wangi leaves and temu giring, which have unique purifying properties.
2. Javanese Massage (60 minutes) An intense, medium to strong deep tissue massage to apply a unique blend of Indonesia’s essential oils that stimulates blood circulation and loosens muscle to reduce tension. Improved energy flow and enhanced physical and mental well-being is the end result.
3. Javanese Herbal Body Mask
Day 4: Couples – choice of:
1. Javanese Massage (60 minutes) This signature therapy draws on the massage traditions used for centuries in the Royal Javanese Palaces. An intense, medium to strong deep tissue massage in which therapist use thumb and palm pressure and firm strokes to apply a unique blend of Indonesia’s essential oils that stimulates blood circulation and loosens muscle to reduce tension. The therapist maintains balanced pressure movement to perform harmonized mind, body and spirit in delivering natural healing powers. Improved energy flow and enhanced physical and mental well-being is the end result.
2. Swedish Massage (60 minutes) This unique European full body massage stimulates blood circulation and soothes tense muscles. Medium in pressure, it uses a combination of three basic strokes: long firm strokes, kneading strokes and small circular strokes.
3. French Massage (60 minutes) Originating from France, this massage technique increases circulation and ymphatic drainage, relaxes muscles and calms your nerve system. It uses a combination of kneading and effleurage with gentle and steady movements.
