Whistler Golf Packages | Scenic Holes
Part of the allure of golfing in BC is standing on the fairway and looking around you. Mountains, streams, rivers, trees–British Columbia has a varied terrain that adds to the ambiance of the game. Here’s where you’ll find the most scenic holes in the Whistler, BC area.
While this hole looks fairly straightforward, the picturesque quality of this hole is what could also get you into trouble. A stream cuts the fairway in two and guards the green. Favour the left side as the green slopes slightly to the right.
As British Columbia’s Signature Golf Hole, it lives up to its name. The sharp dogleg left and the wind will require you to decide whether to add or subtract a club. Most of this hole’s beauty comes from the dogleg, and where the water wraps around the protrusion of land where the flag rests.
Hole #10 – “Windtalker”
Starting with an incredible view of Whistler Mountain before you, a lake to your left, and Crabapple Creek to your right. Here is another instance where a stream of water cuts in front of the fairway just before the pin. This hole is trickier than it looks so be sure to take extra club while you enjoy the view!
Hole #16 – “The Gallery”
Despite the green being well-guarded by sandy bunkers and water, it’s that water coupled with the mountain view that makes this hole “The Gallery” aptly named. The hole plays downwind, and driving here is probably a good idea as the hole plays longer than it looks. You can play this hole in two if you’re good, though many second shots end up over the green if you’re not careful.
