The prime golf season in the Kootenay Rockies typically runs from late May through early October. The absolute best time to play is mid-June through mid-September for the longest daylight hours and most consistent course conditions.
Yes, both Wildstone Golf Course and the substitution options like Bootleg Gap offer excellent practice facilities, including driving ranges and putting greens, allowing you to warm up properly before your round.
The area is served by the Canadian Rockies International Airport (YXC) in Cranbrook, which is a short 20-minute drive from Kimberley. It is also an easy drive from Calgary, AB (about 4 hours).
Transportation is not included in the base price, not do we book transportation. However, all selected courses and resorts in our Kimberley golf packages are located within a close 5-25 minute driving range, making self-driving very convenient.
