Bear Mountain Resort – Valley Course

Trickle Creek golf resort
Bear Mountain Resort – Valley Course – Victoria, British Columbia

The Valley course meanders through forest, borders lakes, and traverses creeks and rivers throughout its 18 holes, while offering spectacular view of British Columbia’s beautiful landscape.

In contrast to the existing Mountain course, the par 71 Valley course measures 6807 yards from the Golden Bear tees – around 400 yards shorter than its sibling. Factor in elevated tee boxes, more generous fairway widths, fewer bunkers and larger greens, and the Valley course will likely be considered a ‘friendlier’ version of the original. Rolling through terrain at elevations of between 300 and 500 feet above sea level, there is still plenty of challenge, and many holes that could be considered the signature hole.

Bear Mountain Resort can now boast of having the only 36 holes of Nicklaus Design golf, at any one facility in Canada.

The Bear Mountain Resort – Mountain Course is a legendary course created by a legendary designer and together with its new sister course – the Valley Course, are cornerstone to Bear Mountain Resort’s premier master-planned resort community. Bear Mountain Resort’s lush mountainside community defines resort living with a montage of residential and vacation real estate opportunities as well as The Westin Bear Mountain Victoria Golf Resort and Spa. Medical and traditional aesthetics at the Santé Spa ranked one of the top ten medical spas in the world by SpaFinder, a dining mecca with eclectic and world-class restaurants, the state-of-the-art Mountainside Athletic Club, a Jack Nicklaus Golf Academy and The Village, round out the complete lifestyle experience, all within minutes of the beautiful seaside harbour of Victoria, British Columbia.
