Why You Should Golf at Rivershore Estates and Golf Links

Rivershore sits in the heart of British Columbia, just four hours from Vancouver and east of Kamloops by about fifteen minutes. Once you’re there, you have pretty much everything you need to enjoy an afternoon of golf, including a pro shop and a clubhouse where you can enjoy a meal. Natural Beauty

Like many British Columbia golf courses, Rivershore has gorgeous scenery. The South Thompson River runs alongside the course and the mountains look on in the background. Sagebrush covers the hills and is tempered by a sprinkling of desert. Many holes feature wide open space, allowing mountain views from any angle. The South Thompson River is just steps away from holes 8, 17, and 18.

Greatness Recognized

Not only is Rivershore the recipient of numerous awards and starred ratings, including a 4-star rating from Golf Digest Magazine, but it is the host of several Canadian golf championships. Those include the Canadian Tour’s Western Championship, the Future Links Pacific Championship, the Canadian Senior Men’s Championship, and many others. Not interested in championships? Challenging

Not for the faint of heart, this course. With over 95 bunkers to its name, Rivershore demands a lot from its golfers without pretention. Water bunkers are used sparingly on the course, relying on the other natural features to give you a challenge. A practice facility with a grass tee range can help you improve your game before you tackle the real tees. For the value the course provides, the trip here is worth it.]]>
